HERS Home Energy Rating
As a RESNET Certified Independent HERS Rater, we will conduct an analysis of an existing home or a planned new construction and provide a certified HERS Index score. For many new residential construction projects, the HERS analysis is required in order to obtain a building permit and certificate of occupancy.
Blower Door and Duct Leakage Testing
A blower door test measures the air tightness of a home and is a diagnostic tool used to determine how to increase energy efficiency, safety, and comfort. A duct blower test can determine the air tightness of the heating/cooling distribution system and is a diagnostic tool in assessing the efficiency of that system.
